We have very strict standards for grading our single and bulk cards. We know how frustrating it can be when your card is delivered in much worse condition than advertised. Please see our definitions of Near Mint and Played cards for more detail so that you know what to expect for your single or bulk card purchases.  Cards graded by third party grading companies (e.g. PSA, CGC or BGS) will have the numerical or other grade as determined by the respective grading company, as advertised on the relevant product page. We guarantee that the card condition of our single and bulk cards will meet your expectations or we’ll take the cards back and refund your money. Please see our return policy.

Near Mint

Near Mint Cards may have a few minor imperfections, but are still in great overall condition. In fact, the average observer might even consider these cards Mint. There are no creases, water damage, or rips. These cards are great for those who want cards in very nice condition to play with but aren’t necessarily concerned with collecting or grading.
Near Mint cards may have minor:
  • Edge wear
  • Surface scuffing
  • Warped foiling (slight "U" shape bend as are common on promo cards contained in blister packs or tins.)
and no other noticeable imperfections.
Played
These cards will have noticeable playwear, but are still playable in a tournament as long as sleeves are used. If you are at all concerned about the condition of the cards you receive, these cards will likely not be to your satisfaction. However, if you just want something you can play with at a cheap price, this is what you’re looking for. We'd also note, depending on preference, these cards may make good binder cards.

Played cards may have noticeable:
  • Edge wear
  • Surface scuffing
  • Binder ring dents
  • Artist signatures
  • Warped foiling (Note: This includes foils that are bent into a severe “U” shape)
